Paediatric Cardiac Intensivist
Dr Victoria obtained her medical degree from Guy's and St Thomas's Medical School in London in 2003, where she graduated with Honours amongst the top 6 medical students in her final year. She also undertook a Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours) in Endocrinology in 2000. She went on to complete 7 years of training in General Paediatrics in and around London, and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2007. Dr Victoria commenced a further 4 years of specialist training in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine in London, and achieved CCM in PICM in 2014. She completed fellowships in ECMO (extracorporeal membranous oxygenation) at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, as well as Paediatric Aeromedical Retrieval in New South Wales, Australia. Dr Victoria was appointed as a PICU consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital in 2014, before moving to take a substantive consultant role as a cardiac PICU consultant at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London, in 2015. From 2018 to 2022, Dr Victoria worked as a cardiac PICU consultant at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Hospital, Abu Dhabi, before moving to Al Jalila Children's Hospital, Dubai, in early 2023.
