Biography

Dr. Tanvir Nazir is Specialist – Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Al Jalila Children’s. He specializes in general paediatric otolaryngology, with specific clinical interest in paediatric throat and airway diseases, hyper nasality, and paediatric sinonasal diseases. Dr. Tanvir Nazir received his medical degree from the University of Kashmir, India. He completed his Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency training at government medical college Srinagar and The SKIMS Srinagar, India. Dr. Tanvir is a member of the Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery and the Association of Otolaryngologists of India. He has many scientific presentations and published articles in international journals. 

He is dedicated to treating the full range of childhood ear, nose, and throat disorders including congenital head and neck masses, airway disorders, hearing loss, sleep apnea, and chronic infections of the ears, nose, and throat. Trained in the latest techniques and practices, he is committed to staying on the leading edge of medicine through ongoing research in paediatric sleep apnea. Dr. Tanvir aims to tailor his practice and treatment recommendations to the individual patient and family.
