Biography

Dr. Rubina Lone is Assistant Director of Laboratory Medicine at Al Jalila Children’s. She is American Board Certified in Medical Microbiology with expertise in Bacteriology, Virology, Mycology, Parasitology, Serology, Immunology, Molecular Microbiology, Health and Safety. Dr. Rubina is a member of the Infection Control Committee, Point of Care Testing Committee and Quality and Safety Committee. She is also the quality and risk champion for Laboratory Medicine at Al Jalila Children’s. She is a member of the American Society of Microbiology, the Indian Association of Medical Microbiology, and an Associate Member of the Royal College of Pathologists and has also presented and published her research in over 25 peer-reviewed publications.
