Biography

Dr. Richie is a Specialist Paediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist at Al Jalila Children’s. After completing his graduation and post-graduation, he went on to pursue a Fellowship in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anaesthesia at Medanta – the Medicity Hospital, Gurgaon, India, a high volume tertiary care centre for cardiac diseases. He is highly skilled in providing anaesthesia for complex cardiac procedures for children as well as neonates. Dr. Richie has a special interest in intraoperative Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and regularly attends national and international conferences. He has been a regular member of charity heart missions providing surgical and cath procedures for the underprivileged at no cost. A voracious reader, he has also authored a chapter in a book and has been a part of a few clinical trials.
