Biography

I am from Delhi, India. I joined medicine in the year 1998 and graduated in medicine (MBBS) from one of the reputed institutes (AMU, Aligarh) in India in the year 2003. Completed MD(Pediatrics) from the same institute in 2008. Thereafter I worked in Delhi, India as registrar in pediatrics for 3 years. In 2011 I joined 2 years post doctoral board fellowship - FNB , Pediatric Critical Care at Manipal hospital , Bangalore, India. Completed the fellowship in year 2013. Thereafter I moved to Saudi Arabia and joined KFMC , RIYADH ,KSA as Assistant Subspeciality Consultant (pediatric critical care). It was the largest general PICU at that time in the kingdom. Worked there till 2016 when I was recruited as Pediatric Intensivist in DHA as Senior specialist registrar (SSR) at Dubai Hospital and joined in April , 2016. After merging of pediatric services in DHA was transferred and joined AJCH as SSR, PICU since October 2021.

  • Thesis work in Pediatric Nephrology Clinic “A study to assess erythropoietin (EPO) levels in nephrotic syndrome with normal kidney function”. I have exclusive PICU experience of more than 10 years.
  • Won college round of 1st Indian Academy of Pediatrics quiz for Post Graduates, 2007.
  • 1st Runner up at 1st Indian Academy of Pediatrics quiz for Post Graduates, 2007 at the Divisional Level held at Meerut, UP, India
