Biography

Dr. Mason AlNouri is a Pediatric Orthopaedic and Pediatric Spine Surgeon at Al Jalila Children’s. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at the Cornell University affiliated Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) in Qatar. He then went on to complete a five-year Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in Qatar. Following residency, he undertook Pediatric Orthopaedic fellowship training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) in Stanmore, United Kingdom (UK) under the sponsorship of the The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA) accredited IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Prior to joining Al Jalila Children’s, he was appointed Lecturer at Atlantic Canada’s Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery at Hirosaki University Graduate School of Medicine in Hirosaki, Aomori, Japan. Dr. AlNouri’s practice encompasses a wide spectrum of general Pediatric Orthopaedic conditions and all aspects of Pediatric Spine Surgery. He has a special interest in early-onset scoliosis, and has several related peer-reviewed publications to his name. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), POSNA, and AOSpine.
