Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist
Dr. Manal Mustafa is a consultant paediatric endocrinologist at Al Jalila children's hospital, Dubai. After the MBBS, she completed four years of paediatric speciality training and obtained the Membership of Royal College of paediatric and child health (MRCPCH) and the Arab Board of Paediatrics in 2010. Then she completed her Fellowship in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes with Honor degree from Saudi Commission of Health Specialities, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in Jan 2014. She has significant academic interest. She is the Program Director of paediatric endocrinology fellowship program at Al Jalila Children's hospital, Dubai. She is an adjunct clinical associate professor at MBRU. She is a member of Endocrine society and ISPAD. She has many published scientific papers in well-known medical journals. She is actively participating in many endocrine and paediatric conferences either as a speaker or as a poster/oral presenter. Dr Manal is a PALS instructor (paediatric advanced life support) teaching regularly in PALS provider courses. Dr Manal is interested in research, and has been an investigator in a number of collaborative multicenter research studies, in diabetes and endocrinology, including being an investigator for the international multi-center trial “A Phase 3, Multicenter, Double-blind, Randomized, Placebo-controlled Clinical Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of Ertugliflozin (MK-8835/PF-04971729) in Paediatric Participants (ages 10 to 17 years, inclusive) with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus”.
