Paediatric Cardiologist
Dr. Mahmoud joined Al Jalila Children’s as a consultant in paediatric cardiology. Graduating from Damascus University in 1997, he went on with his studies to receive the Arab Board Certificate and master degree in Paediatric/Paediatric Cardiology. He followed that with a fellowship program in paediatric cardiology in King Khaled University Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and later another fellowship program in Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha, Qatar. He enjoys a unique knowledge and understanding of the common cardiac diseases across the children of the Middle East and the Arab countries, with 20 years of experience in invasive and non-invasive diseases , including FETAL CARDIOLOGY at different centers in Syria, in addition to Al-Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah, UAE, and Dubai Hospital, Dubai, UAE. Dr. Mahmoud is also an adjacent professor at Sharjah University since 2014, and adjunct clinical associated professor in Mohammad Bin Rashid University MBRU , Dubai , UAE and currently he is the director of the heart of excellence at aljalila children specialty hospital since 2020.
