Biography

Dr. Amr ELSherbeny is a specialist Paediatric Anesthesiologist at Al Jalila Children’s Hospital and graduated from Cairo University, Egypt in 2008. He completed his specialist anaesthetist training and fellowship in anesthesia & intensive care medicine in Egypt starting residency in Nasser Institute Hospital for research &treatment,during which he finished his master degree in Anesthesia.Afterwards,he earned his medical Doctorate degree in Pediatric anesthesia at Abu El-Reesh Pediatric Hospital(Cairo University). Before joining Al Jalila Children’s Hospital, he was a consultant anaesthetist at Arab Contractors Medical hospital in Egypt. He has been actively involved in teaching, postgraduate residents, nursing staff, and paramedical staff during his work as an assistant fellow of Anesthesia at General Organization For Teaching Hospitals and Institutes in Egypt. He is a consultant anaesthetist at Egyptian medical syndicate and an affiliate member of the Egyptian Society of Anaesthesia. Dr. Amr’s areas of clinical interest are neonatal and pediatric anesthesia for different surgeries,as well as pediatric sedation.He is especially interested in airway management for pediatric population including fiberoptic guided intubation. He has shared in publications of papers in International journals.
