OBJECTIVE
This initiative aims to engage art classrooms around Dubai to help enliven our patient experience at AJCH. The art exchange involves schools sending themed installments of inspirational art collections as well as other creative exchanges of student work. The program aims to use artistic expression as a vehicle to promote kindness, healing, and connectedness between Al Jalila Children’s and the broader student population in Dubai.

- Art classes or other student groups from within a school work with our School Programmes team to decide on the theme and logistics for the project
- The process of “creating” is filmed or photographed on campus
- The students visit Al Jalila Children’s to deliver their creation, meet and greet hospital leaders, and a photo opportunity
- If applicable, the art “delivery” is also filmed and photographed
- Depending on form, the art either stays on site for a decided duration and then returned, or is delivered to patients to keep
