The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Programme recognizes that success in practicing child and adolescent psychiatry is dependent on quality training in a specialized well-structured programme.
Beyond attaining essential knowledge, skills and attitudes, fellows will benefit from development of a sense of professional identity that includes evolving as competent consultants, leaders in their clinical field, sensitive therapists, advocates for children and thoughtful participants within Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) structures.
The two year Fellowship Programme is committed to providing an exceptional experience to fellow trainees that combines high quality patient care with academic excellence. It emphasizes the concept that research and scholarly competencies are fundamental aspects of being a physician and a child and adolescent psychiatrist. Our Programme affiliation with the academic institution of Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) is a source of pride for us and it will enable us to further expand our research opportunities and other related activities.
