Our Consultant Paediatric Rheumatologist specializes in providing comprehensive care to children (as well as their families) with rheumatic diseases, especially arthritis.
The Paediatric Rheumatology Clinic provides the following services:
Out-patient clinics
Four outpatient clinics per week
In-patient services
Patients with rheumatic diseases in need of in-patient hospitalization are admitted to the care of paediatric rheumatology service in subspecialities wards 1 and 2. Patients in need for frequent monitoring may be admitted to high dependency units and / or PICU.
Consultation services
Paediatric rheumatology consultation services are provided to all patients in need of rheumatology opinion admitted under other services in subspecialty wards, PICU, NICU, and emergency departments.
Other services
Paediatric patients with rheumatic diseases will benefit from the availability of comprehensive laboratory services and imaging / radiology services at Al Jalila Children’s in addition to availability of many subspecialties at Al Jalila Children’s while undergoing workup and management of their conditions.
