Paediatric Neurorehabilitation

The Paediatric Neurorehabilitation Clinic is part of the Neurosciences Centre of Excellence which is one among the most advanced facilities in the region that specifically caters to disorders of the nervous system in children. As the only dedicated hospital for children in the UAE, the Centre at Al Jalila Children’s features state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and consultants with years of paediatric experience from some of the renowned hospitals around the world.

By focusing on all aspects of a child’s well-being, paediatric neurorehabilitation offers a series of therapies from the psychological to occupational, teaching or re-training children on mobility skills, communication processes, and other aspects of a child’s daily routine. Neurorehabilitation also focuses on nutrition, and psychological, and creative parts of a child’s recovery. We accept infants and children up to 18 years for outpatient or inpatient acute/post-acute rehabilitation. We provide physiotherapy, occupational, speech, and language services in addition to orthotic/prosthetic services that are led by experienced therapists.
