Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure on any joint like on the knee, elbow, ankle, wrist, hip, or shoulder. It is used  to view, diagnose, and treat problems inside a joint without making a large incision through the skin and other soft tissues. Arthroscopic surgery can diagnose and treat knee injuries, such as fractures in the knee bones, torn anterior or torn meniscus.
